About Us

Pack 1864 Family CampoutPack 1864 has been an active and fun part of the community since its chartering in the mid-1980s. The Pack's success, like all Cub Scout Packs, has been as a result of the involvement and commitment of its members and the adult volunteers that comprise the organization.

Pack 1864's Mission: Cub Scout Pack 1864 offers a values-based program for kindergartners through fifth graders that prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. We focus on character building, service to the community, positive appreciation for the outdoors, and personal fitness through fun, adventure, achievement, and hands-on learning via structured activities. We strive to provide an environment for building the foundation for our children to build the confidence to forge a path to their own best self and to form the next generation of strong, collaborative, creative, and character-driven community and world leaders.

Our Pack and Den leaders are all selfless volunteers committed to providing a fun, safe, and enriching environment for our children. Each of them pass a background investigation and complete online and/or in-person training in accordance with BSA requirements. Training includes Leadership Training, Child Protection Training, and Leader Position Specific Training.

We would love to "Scout You In!" Come join the whole-family fun, adventure and character-building opportunities found in Cub Scouts.
